The Blue Owl Press website had been damaged and was in need of repair. It is up again. I still need to replace / rewrite some of the reference material, and I am working on that. There does not seem to be a civilized forum for discussion of trading system development on the web.
I am encouraging discussion related specifically to trading system development -- design, testing, validation, analysis, management -- on the Blue Owl Press site. Continue to use this forum -- Yahoo AmiBroker Forum -- for discussions specific to AmiBroker.

I recognise that Howard has far more experience in developing trading systems than I have. I bought two of his books when I first started with AB. I still regard them as an valuable investment, I'm glad he made the speculative investment in his time to write them. I disagree with some of his testing ideas but the challenge and stimulation of his thinking is good for me. I understand that the presentation of ideas in a book is needed to communicate a larger body of connected knowledge.
I thank him for his on-going presence in this forum.
