You are right. The 1st January did not display because it was a non-trading day.
It works fine for a trading day that has occurred in the past IE. where there is data. But it does not work for any future dates.
So this is a neat solution for any past expiry dates. But the original problem was, "I want to draw a simple vertical line at a date, e.g Options Expiry Date. e.g. 25/2/2016." I should have specified, Expiry Date in the Future.
Is there a way I can draw a simple vertical line at a future date? Presumable with the limitation of 50 blank bars in the future.
