Sorry Michael I don't have any other suggestions. I do think it is very worthwhile upgrading your AmiBroker to the latest version. It is truly a bargain compared to all competitors.
And just for the one feature you are currently looking for, you would save countless hours trying to do that manually and hundreds of dollars/year on data feeds that will do that for you. Then there are many many more features that have been added in the past 5 years or so since your original purchase.
