Has anyone written a script that will allow for the import of the correct sector and industry for each stock in Amibroker database? I am using version 5.40 and Amiquote to download the historical price data and the fundamental data. However, as you may know there is some reason why you can not import the sector and industry. I am not sure of the reason, but I am told that it is possible to still access yahoo's server containing this information and update all your symbols without much effort. I was also told that even if you purchase the upgraded version of AB it comes with a file of stock with updates, but after that If you manually add more tickers or the current symbols change to represent another stock, etc. you still have to manually update your database.
Any help is appreciated
