Thanks for your response. I was skeptical of updating to 6.0 because your assistant kept telling me, if I add any new stocks that are not in the initial downloaded database that the Tools > Update US symbol and categories would not update those new stocks I added. I was afraid if I added another 1000 ticker symbols that are not in the new database and quote data for charts , that I would have to add sector and industry of each ticker by hand. I did now want to do this.
So I guess what I am trying to clarify is if I buy 6.0 and it has 6000 stocks in it and I add 1000 new stocks to equal 7000 and use Tools>Update US symbol, all sector and industry categories will be updated (as long as they are US stocks). Correct?
