Re: [amibroker] Multiple Instances of Amibroker?

If you need, you could create different AB icons, each one using a different DB.

Since AB 5.15 there is this command line parameter:
/database "the path to the database here"

I never did that and I do not use AB in multiple instances.
If I did, I would probably make copies of AB's entire folder tree so each copy would be an instance and each instance would have its own default layout and setup.

Maybe there is a cmd line parameter "/layout" that I do not know about.

Hello,

"Is this possible to run Multiple Instances of Amibroker under one OS? If so, How?"

How about just double click on icon twice?

Yes it runs. Almost every program in Windows can be run multiple times in parallel.

If you are accessing same DB/same files then "last write wins" applies.

And what are the limitations? I mean can both access same DB at the same time or does DB?
