Thank you very much for your e-mail.
These settings need to be known PRIOR to execution of formula.
"Apply to" and "Range" settings (as well as other settings AND the formula itself),
are saved in APX (Analysis project file).
You should be using it.
Save the project file using File->Save As
and load it using File->Open
That way you will load EVERYTHING, including formula and settings
at once. No need for coding.

Hi Tomasz,
a few months a go someone asked if it would be possible to implement the control of "Apply to", "Range" and other setting directly from the AFL.
Is there any plan for that?
