Hello,
Thank you very much for your e-mail.
With regards to updating just watch list - this is supported already.
Watch lists are stored in .TLS files inside WatchList directory of database folder.
You can just double click on such file and it would open up the watch list in AmiQuote
ready to be updated.
Best regards,

Would there then be some way to specify which one(s) are to be updated? Perhaps by specifying a particular watch list or other categorie(s)?
Thank you.

"Amiquote often keeps ticking ALL the symbols for download"
That is true that by default it wants to download data from entire list.
But no problem, will add an option to turn off that behavior.

Thanks for the clarification,
I too have had difficulties with just updating one or two symbols with Amiquote.
Amiquote often keeps ticking ALL the symbols for downloadEven when I highlight the one stock I want downloaded.
It tries to get "too clever" for its own good.
I'll give Fountain a try.
Thanks
Geo.

- The product has a one time fee and can be used indefinitely, it is not subscription based. Any updates in the 12 months following the purchase are free to update to.- The data itself provided by Yahoo and Google Finance is free- Yes, you can get (almost) the same information using Tomasz's AmiQuote.- However AmiQuote does not provide you (near) realtime quotes and you can't pay close attention to a handful of charts (i.e. data retrieved for selected symbols on-demand) (or at least I personally found it difficult to configure with AmiQuote)- You may think of it as a combination of free data AND the convenience of the, say, IQFeed adapter of providing data on demand.
... so in short it all depends on your usage pattern and timeframe. Everyone is free to decide what their needs are.
