Not really. The truth is that i only work normally with one or two symbols and never use watchlists for anything at all. I just load a Symbol file, program the model and optimize. Create some backtests etc.
But at this moment i have so many models (sometimes very slight variations) that just comparing how they have been doing in the past week is impossible as i would have to backtest them manually even for the slightest differences (maybe a little more slippage or just two weeks instead of one).
This code seems to go on the right direction but don't have a clue how to specify the list.
I really hope i don't have to open 1 hundred APX, save with a filter selecting GOOG and execute it and then ext day open the hundred APX and select APPL.
I think i am missing some methodological points on how to work and is starting to be too chaotic.
