RE: [amibroker] How can i define the symbol on Windows Scripting Host

All you have to do is create a watch list and name it something like "MyTestSymbol" and in your apx select apply to filter. The select "MyTestSymbol" in Watch list dropdown. Today you can add GOOG to "MyTestSymbol" and run backtest and tomorrow to can remove GOOG from "MyTestSymbol" and add APPL.

Thanks for replying.
Not really. The truth is that i only work normally with one or two symbols and never use watchlists for anything at all. I just load a Symbol file, program the model and optimize. Create some backtests etc.
But at this moment i have so many models (sometimes very slight variations) that just comparing how they have been doing in the past week is impossible as i would have to backtest them manually even for the slightest differences (maybe a little more slippage or just two weeks instead of one).
This code seems to go on the right direction but don't have a clue how to specify the list.
I really hope i don't have to open 1 hundred APX, save with a filter selecting GOOG and execute it and then ext day open the hundred APX and select APPL.

I think i am missing some methodological points on how to work and is starting to be too chaotic.
