I found the missing files under "C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)/broker"
This is the explanation through google search:
This is the explanation through google search:
Due to security features introduced with Windows Vista (UAC) any non-Administrator program that tries to write to protected locations such as "Program Files" will get their writes caught and redirected to an alternative "user friendly" location.
The program that made the file will be able to see the file, but most other programs will not.
Files written to "protected locations" will end up in a parallel file structure under C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore
, but will appear to the program that created them as if actually in the intended location.
Hi Tomasz,
I downloaded intraday ticker data into Amiborker 5.6 version. I created a separate instance of AB for intraday data. Then I upgraded to AB 6.00.2 version in that folder. I can't find some of the tickers in the database folder. However, I can see them in the chart. I backed up the entire AB instance folder with everything and when I run it on a different computer, I don't see the missing tickers, not unexpected. Is there a hidden folder where these tickers are stored? I went to the folder in "database settings". All this is local storage.
Thanks for any help.
Regards,
Mohan
