Thanks for the reply mate I will give that a go.
If I can't get any joy out of it I think I might just go back to the now(4) function and just run off computer time. My r t trading strategy is not that dependent on time it is more dependent on price action. I don't let it start trading until 1 minute after opening bell to wait for all the volatility to subside. I stop it from trading 1 minute before closing bell as well.
Trace statements in debug view show my computer time to be pretty well exactly the same as timestamp time anyways.
