[amibroker] Re: [Need Suggestion] Multi-Monitor Setup

Brent,

Just a quick question...

bought a USB video card that plugs into a USB port.
I was considering a similar solution but I was wondering how much load it puts on your CPU? I would assume the plug is just an adapter/converter, itself it doesn't have a GPU.

I didn't go this way, as I read about the extra CPU load, and, if mine W520 is working at 10% already (that roughly means 1 thread out of the 8 (4 cores CPU) is working at 100%), the fan kicks in which I can't bear on the long term.

Now, if I could upgrade to a 4k monitor using an adapter like this while keeping my current Lenovo W520 would be great.. (as the machine is still top notch!)

Thanks,
Gabor
