Last month I did that on my desktop.
Fortunately for me I keep a duplicate copy of my AmiB on my laptop. I copied the template on my laptop onto a USB thumb drive. Then I loaded it onto the template on my Desktop. & even though I had not touched my laptop for 2 months all my recent study notes on the charts on the Desktop came back up to date.
