Re: [amibroker] Limiting total pos to less than available funds

Keep your funds to the limit you wish.

Hello,

I searched this and other lists but could not find an answer to this question:

Trading IB, is there away to 'protect' a percentage of available funds? I place orders in the morning and then go offline.  The orders may or may not fill during the day so I don't really know the total position size before the end of the day. Since I am still evaluating this system (its automated) I want it to never exceed a certain percentage of my available funds.

I would like, when I reach my specified percentage of total funds, orders to be rejected due to a lack of funds - or some other mechanism that I might not know about.

This would seem a pretty normal requirement. Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks for your input!
Herman
