Hi,
The terrible search feature of window to waste your time and to use it with a trembling hand.
To gain confidence in this stuff, try the following, you will sort all the formulas that contain "mytext" within afl files.
Into Explorer :
Go the dir :C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\Formulas\
Custom Right click : Include in Library Then Create new library Name it AB custom
(This is a shortcut to your afl files dir)
Go to the dir ( Win7 x64 version) :
C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\Formulas\
Right click Custom then Properties
Advanced Share
Check Share this file then OK
Close the popups and the Explorer
ReOpen Explorer
Highligh AB Custom lib
Right top box use the Search box in a folder or library (where Search Documents in written in grey)
Enter a word such as pxheight or a variable name or my text or whatever.
You should sort all the concerned afl.
You may use a specific syntax :
type:*.afl content:"shiftminusone"
content:"shiftminusone"
"shiftminusone"
shiftminusone
They all give the same results.
type:*.afl content:"shiftminusone" becomes
type:*.afl contenu:"shiftminusone" for a french PC.
content is contenu in french
Nota : a correct syntax is blue.
You may index the dir formulas
Go to :
C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\Formulas\
Right click Custom then Properties | General | Advanced
Check Indexation authorization of content blahblah
Then Apply to this file only
By the way I have another active thing that could be of importance but I am not sure as we index only the custom dir. :
Start without it and add it if needed.
