Your data must be backup  every month using afl above if corrupted you can use import wizard to recover your data, database corrupted if your harddisk is full.

I think this used to be a recurring problem 10+ years ago, but a search doesn't provide the solution.

My main database, in the Symbols tab,   now begins with empty lines (no symbol, no data).  Then, by database starts with the first 1/3 of my database (indices, then A-G tickers).  The data is all still present on the drive, just not being accessed by Amibroker.
