I have the following questions on ETF data.
1. What is a good way to organize ETF quotes in my database? For example, what should be sector, category, etc fields be assigned to? I do not want to mix the ETF data with individual stock data (without having to create a separate database just for ETF data, unless that is really the way it should be done).
2. Is there a list of all possible ETFs that can be downloaded?
3. Finally, if someone can point to some good algorithms involving ETFs, that will be great. I am mainly looking for mid- to long-term investment algorithm, but will be curious to check out day trading algorithms too, if available. Currently, I have statically chosen/allocated some ETFs and using Amibroker for calculating their past returns only.
Thanks.
