I got the following confirmation from Norgate on this program:
The Alvarez Quant Trading blog refers to a new updating platform ("PDU") that we are developing, along with an associated plug-in for AmiBroker. This new platform, which offers the ability to back-test on historical index constituents, including delisted securities, is currently being alpha-tested by a number of our AmiBroker users.
The purpose of the alpha testing program is to get useful feedback from experienced AmiBroker users as development work continues. We expect to make significant changes to the platform before it is eventually released commercially. The testing program is open to existing subscribers who specifically request participation. There are no trials for PDU and access is not available to trial subscribers.
At the moment we are only really seeking testers from our existing subscriber base so that they can fallback to their existing data setup if a problem was to occur with the new platform. We don't recommend that prospective clients subscribe and pay for the required historical data just to act as a tester for an application that's still in development.
However, should you still wish to participate in the alpha testing program and make use of historical index constituents and other features that PDU offers for back-testers, such as the ability to define how the historical data should be adjusted –
1. You must be a subscriber to our existing update service for US Stocks.
2. You must have purchased historical data for currently-listed US Stocks and for delisted stocks under your existing account.
Then send us an email afterwards requesting to be added to the alpha testing program and acknowledging you understand that the "PDU platform is still undergoing significant development and that changes made to it before eventual commercial release may disrupt usage". We will then send you information on how to get started.

Comments from anyone that has experience using the new updating platform ("PDU") is appreciated.
Thanks
