Fibonacci analysis used to be considered exotic, but some experienced traders who decided to do research on Fibonacci's concepts found that the patterns that occurred in nature also occurred in the market. Likewise astrology trading was W.D. Gann's secret to his success as he was the most successful trader of his generation. His concept is based on frequencies and re-occurrence of events and at that time the astrological circle was conveniently subdivided into those frequencies, so he used it. He's not an oculist.
