Hello,
We have received 3 reports from people using AVG antivirus that
after their recent update it started to cause crashes in applications including AmiBroker.
My advice is always the same:
do NOT use "Free" antiviruses except Microsoft Security Essentials or Defender
built into Windows.
If you for some reason choose to continue to use AVG "free" antivirus here are steps
to prevent problems:
Locate and click AVG icon in TaskBar ==> AVG panel will open ==> Options ==> Advanced Settings ==> Exceptions ==> Add Exception ==> Select Exception Type ==>
Application or File ==> Browse ==> find the AmiBroker executable exe file [typically Local disk C:\ ==> ProgramFiles x86 ==> AmiBroker ==> Broker.exe ==> OK]
==> Apply ==> Yes ==> OK ==> Close (X).
Best regards,
Tomasz Janeczko
