Some other random thoughts.
I have been using AVG free for quite some time with no issues, however they are starting to get a little greedy with this ZEN thing. Basically you can have any device with an AVG install on it completely in isolation, but now AVG wants you not only to register this ZEN thing but also "Add all your devices" meaning it wants to know all those devices are yours! Imagine the personal data it can glean if it knows all these separate devices belong to the same person/organization! They should call it big brother instead of Zen.
Regarding windows 10….I can't stand it. I suppose it might be ok if I gave it a chance, but you will have to pull windows 7 from my cold dead body for now. The person who developed the look and feel of windows 10 (an his arrogance) should be executed IMHO.

the anti virus is included in Windows Defender when you use Windows 10. I know because my Kaspersky subscription ended today and I am trying out Windows Defender.
1 thing I noticed is that my new bluetooth headphone finally seems to work as it is supposed to. Apparently Kaspersky was blocking the thing, or it always was a hassle to get it to work,

Any opinion on what to use with windows 10? I heard MS security essentials doesn't accompany win 10?

Hello,
It is not a joke. MS Security essentials at least does not interfere with OS.
Free 3rd party antiviruses are a joke. They mess up with your system
causing nothing but problems.
