No, you are wrong. There is no hole.
Your thinking is all the time in single threaded world.
You are attempting to use that outdated thinking instead of moving to next level.
You can write last close to single file easily as shown in the Knowledge Base:

We are going in circles here. There is a hole in the AFL language that will become obvious to you if you attempt to write a single scan that attempts to collect the last closing price for every symbol and write those symbols and prices to the file with a single fopen() call.
Can you do this?
