Re: [amibroker] Re: scrolling problem

Hello,

Thank you very much for your e-mail.

It depends on how complex your AFL formulas are.

The thing is that AmiBroker is multithreaded and each pane executes in separate thread
and UI is also in separate thread. That means that you can move the scrollbar
immediatelly and UI responds immediatelly but each pane would start executing
and only if your formula finishes you will see that pane updated.

On my end it is butter-smooth.

You may go to Tools->Preferences, "Miscellaneous" tab and check
"Display chart timing".

On my end chart timing for "Price (all in one)" is 23 millisecond (1.4ms AFL execution, 21.9ms GDI render)

Best regards,

Thank you Tomasz.

Mouse wheel + CTRL seems to work best for me.

I still find the scroll bar thumb still makes big jumps - Could it be my PC isn't processing fast enough??  I find it extremely hard to use with precision.  The chart itself doesn't have anything fancy on it, just price candles and volume.
