Hi Folks,
I'm sure this has been answered or an example given at some point. Curious, I'd like to see the value of an indicator on a finer time frame chart even though the indicator is some interval up from the chart I am viewing. For example, lets say I want to see the value of a 10 bar EMA on a daily close basis, but viewed (plotted on a 1 minute chart, as it would change. Therefore the 9 day EMA would be calculated on daily bars and then appended 1/10 lag from each 1 minute bar close etc.
Then if I change the chart to hourly, it would automatically sense what interval I'm in and append the 9 EMA lag with a 1/10th change as of the hourly bar close etc. Perhaps the slower interval (in my example daily) can be set as a parameter, but then it auto senses the current chart resolution/interval etc.
Has anyone seen a template for an indicator like this?
Thanks
-S
