Quicken Loans, the top lender overall, with $320.21 billion in production volume in 2020. Quicken did most of its business via the retail channel (an estimated $219.77 billion for the year), but it was no slouch in the broker channel, either ($95.26 billion).
Chase, which saw its servicing volume decrease from $652.33 billion in 3Q20 to $624.83 billion in 4Q20 — and its share of the servicing market drop from 5.6% to 5.3% — but also saw its delinquency rate fall to 3.78% in 4Q from 4.17% in the third quarter.
Movement Mortgage, one of only two companies in the top 25 to do more purchase money business than refinances. Movement made $17.28 billion in purchase loans in 2020, compared with $12.65 billion in refis.
loanDepot,which sold $27.53 billion of loans to the GSEs in 4Q20 ($10.63 billion to Fannie Mae and $16.91 billion to Freddie Mac) and saw its share of the GSE sales market rise to 3.4% from 2.7% in the third quarter, taking the #5 spot among GSE sellers.
Caliber Home Loans, the third largest FHA lender for the quarter, with $2.93 billion in business — up from $2.58 billion in 3Q20 and $1.33 billion in the year-ago period.
