Re: [amibroker] Re: Explore & Debug vs. Code Check: What's Different?

Hello,

There is no "misleading information" given by code check and profile.
What you have observed is due to the fact that there is NO "Parameter" window
in the EDITOR.

You are changing parameters somewhere else (in chart or in analysis).
Parameters work CONTEXTUALLY so they are applied ONLY in the context
where Parameter window was used. Specifically parameters are tied to Chart ID.
Editor does not care if you use the same formula in one or more charts.
So if you have parameter set for given CHART, it applies to THAT chart and nowhere else.
Setting parameter in chart does not affect other charts or analysis window or editor.
This is done so to allow INDEPENDENT control of parameters for each chart.

Editor always uses default parameter values as specified in the code.
