The true driving force behind Millennial homeownership

Let's talk about pet-loving homeowners, shall we? According to a recent survey, most buyers consider their pets when purchasing a home.
According to a recent Realtor.com survey, almost 95% of homebuyers consider their pets when purchasing a home. I get it. Early on, my husband and I had an agreement that I would not get a cat until we purchased a home. I adopted Piper less than a month after closing. (Pictured below because cats are finally relevant to this newsletter).

Admittedly, while the future of cat ownership was in the back of my mind as I looked at houses, I can't say it even remotely influenced my choice of home.

So, out of sheer curiosity, I want to hear from you! If you're home shopping, does your pet influence your home-buying decisions? If you're a real estate agent, have you ever had any out-of-the-ordinary client requests on behalf of their pets? Let me know by replying to this email!

Tell your pets I say hi,
