They still love Cathie Wood. Her flagship ARK Innovation Fund (ARKK) is down 41% this year, you'd think investors would be abandoning Cathie Wood, but no. Shares outstanding have gone from 173 million January 1 to 183 million today. Say what you will, but they bought at the top, and they're buying at the bottom as well.
VanEck launches the VanEck Digital Assets Mining ETF (DAM). DAM offers targeted exposure to digital assets mining companies (think Riot Blockchain, Hut 8, Marathon Digital), which represents the largest segment of the publicly traded digital asset ecosystem. Jeffrey Gundlach gets the go-ahead for an ETF lineup. DoubleLine Capital was given the go by the SEC for two actively managed ETFs. The DoubleLine Opportunistic Bond ETF (DBND) will hold a basket of fixed income securities, including junk. The DoubleLine Shiller CAPE U.S. Equities ETF (DCPE) will incorporate the principles of Robert Shiller, creator of the Cyclically Adjusted Price Earnings (CAPE) ratio.
