Good afternoon —   Forbearance…GSE conservatorship...Unprepared is unacceptable…Changing leadership at the FHFA...   For the past 18 months, it has been anything but easy to service mortgages. Servicers have been pressured from all sides, the consumer, the lender, and the government.    With the ​​Rohit Chopra nomination taking a step forward this week and 1.5 million homeowners still in forbearance, servicers should not expect the pressure to ease in 2022.   HousingWire has two upcoming events that will focus on the future of servicing.
