A NOTE FROM BOB
Join me on ETF Edge this Monday at 1 PM, when my guests will be Jennifer Grancio, CEO of Engine No. 1, which just launched the Engine No. 1 Transform 500 ETF (VOTE) and Arne Noack, Head of Systemic Investment Solutions for the Americas, DWS, who runs two of the largest ESG ETFs, the Xtrackers MSCI USA ESG Leaders Equity ETF (USSG) and the trackers S&P 500 ESG ETF (SNPE).
My old friend John Hyland has terrific speculation on who might be the next big mutual fund family to convert some of their assets to ETFs, following on Dimensional Funds. John notes that of the 25 largest mutual fund families in the United States, only eight also has more than $10 billion in ETF assets. Among the 17 who have no ETFs whatsoever, or very small lineups: American Funds, Dodge & Cox, Columbia and T. Rowe Price.
The crazy volatility of bitcoin and ether is not good news for those hoping for a bitcoin ETF this year. SEC Chair Gary Gensler has already cited ongoing concerns about fraud and manipulation in the crypto markets and wants more regulation around crypto exchanges and wallets. This kind of crazy volatility only deepens the concerns about approving a bitcoin ETF.
How do you invest in aggressive growth and limit the volatility? WisdomTree launched a U.S. Growth and Momentum fund (WGRO). It aims to improve the timing of entry points during small pullbacks and avoid holding stocks that are extended. For more analysis and actionable insights, catch me live on Mondays at 1 PM ET on ETF Edge. |
