Conforming loan limits, jumbo loan buzzkill

The FHFA will make it official on November 30, but by now you've already heard the news: conforming home limits are expected to jump in 2022 to a baseline of about $650,000 in most areas of the country, and just under $1 million in roughly 100 higher-priced counties.

Hello, LOs!   The FHFA will make it official on November 30, but by now you've already heard the news: conforming home limits are expected to jump in 2022 to a baseline of about $650,000 in most areas of the country, and just under $1 million in roughly 100 higher-priced counties.    The new limits should roughly keep pace with the double-digit rise in home prices.
