In yesterday's ed note, I talked about the Cloudstar ransomware attack and how it was affecting title and settlement companies. I stated that Cloudstar provides cloud hosting of three origination platforms, including Encompass 360. However, ICE Mortgage Technology clarified that they don't use Cloudstar to host Encompass and that Encompass360 refers to a brand term that hasn't been used in years. Good to know!
