Arecent survey by the American Land Title Association found that digital closings — whichballooned in popularity during COVID — have proven to have some staying power now that conditions have normalized. This year, 46% of title professionals said they offer digital closings, and 35% of companies offer remote online notarization to their clients.
Of course, offering RON is not possible inevery state, but where it's legal, more than half of those surveyed said it decreased closing times and 43% said it reduced costs.
