Hello, LOs!
Fort Mill, South Carolina-headquartered retail lender Movement Mortgage announced yesterday that longtime executive coach Bill Hart had joined the organization as "National Leadership Coach."
Hart, who founded his firm Building Champions in 2003, will be tasked with mentoring and developing sales and operations staffers alongside Tim Davis, the head of coaching at Movement.
Hart is pretty well known in the mortgage and real estate space. He's consulted for PrimeLending, Cornerstone Home Lending, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, Keller Williams Realty, Rodan & Fields and others. Hart likes to draw comparisons between U.S. special forces personnel and top sales professionals.
Some mortgage lenders, like Movement, seem to prefer keeping the mortgage coaching in-house. Many others seem to lean on independent coaches such as CORE Training by Rick Ruby, Next Level Loan Officers, Mortgage Champions by Dave Vermillion, 20/20 Vision For Success by Christine Beck, Joel Epstein of BigJoel Coaching, etc.
I'm curious to hear about LOs' experiences with high-profile mortgage coaches. Did they share valuable tips that made you a better, more productive LO? Was it disappointing? And what is the coaching program like at your company? Please share your thoughts with me anonymously at jkleimann@housingwire.com.
