Don't worry - all systems starting from Windows NT 4.0, including Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 are based on NT kernel
and are essentially the same with regards to programming, so they will be supported.
The only reason to drop support for Windows 9x was the fact that OS kernel was different and there were many function
related to multithreading missing.
As to export times - please use modern versions (6.00 or higher). It would export in seconds, not minutes.

Please donot drop support on win xp because with win10 export 90-100 Mb ami data to csv file took one hour while with win xp it took less than five minutes. I doubt any serious trader uses any pc with any operating system older than
xp installed on it. XP was released in October of 2001, that is almost 15

Hello,
As you might have noticed the support for Windows 95 has been dropped in
AmiBroker version 6.08.
Now I plan to drop support for Windows 98 and Millenium.
This is caused by the fact that Windows OSes not based on NT kernel miss
some core multithreading related functions (namely I/O completion ports).
Does any AmiBroker user use those OSes anymore? If so, let me know.
